murdered out ranger
murdered out ranger
Ok so ive been working on my truck all week and ive made alot of progress on it. heres how it started i seen an expedition all black with black chrome tips. i went strait to the exhaust shop and went to get duals put on well i got the rear end about 6 inches off the ground on the lift and the rear end dropped out from under it. the rear shackles were so rusted they broke off. i then decided to buy the chevy 1500 lowering shackles and lift it up. i painted the grille cranked the tbars and changed all the ball joints. i was wanting to paint the bumpers black and put new flares on it so its all black. i cant seem to find an all black lifted ranger with black rims. anyone got pics?
Are you planning on painting the chrome? Or have you already painted it?
Seeing how you have a chrome grille and bumper you should try this paint. It will turn it into black chrome and is uber sexy. It's just a transparent paint like Niteshades. I have used this stuff to tint lenses and it works great, but was made more for anodizing purposes. Comes in a variety of colours.

Tint your corners and turn signals though, or get some of those ghey plastic tinted headlight covers.
painting wheels is easy. if they are aluminum, LIGHTLY scuff them. Do not sand them to put scratches in them as it will show through the paint. Hit them with high build primer and then paint them with some enamel gloss, satin or flat paint of your choice.
