ill probally wait until i can piece together more things, (ie. guage pod, aftermarkert speakers..since ill have the door panel off anyhow...) well heres what i got...
looks like a normal driver side mirror....

i wonder if its going to be plug and play...

i hope al least the connectors are the same so my power mirrors still work... that way at worst i can just run a wire from any of the light that come on when the doors open...

ok well bad news... it doesnt work... it can though with some minor cutting and drilling, which i am probably not going to do... i am going to buy on of the later year explorer mirrors with the light in the mirror part rather then on the other part....

it looks as though youd just have to cut a hole about here... in order for that plug piece to fit .

I almost did the same mod, but instead i added a led light to go with the turn signals
