wouldn't say covering a whole truck in a wrap would be easy. but i would have to say a lifted ranger wrapped in flat black like that would be sweet.

good enough until the rust completely eats the metal. Then the vinyl will just fall off.

Wonder if that would be applicable for a truck to pass inspection here in PA. We cant have any sharp edges caused by rust. Not that they go around checking with a magnet to see if its metal or not

Thats a good idea. Just dont let the sharp edges cut through the vinyl.

This is not what i thought when i read the title.
I was thinking along the lines of something like
"hey guys, I've decided i no longer like being a white man, I'm going pull a reverse Michael Jackson".
But anyways. This looks like the Spy camo crap i see at work. Its painfully easy to do. I say somebody go for it.

I agree that this is a great idea for winter use. Maybe it would keep the salt/grime and mess off of your clear coat. But cleaning it often during the winter wouldnt hurt either lol.

There was a thread awhile back about PlastiDip, it's basically vinyl spray, and someone asked the same question. The general consensus was it was worth a try but there is a chance that salt and stuff could get under the "vinyl" and run the wheels.

I've been wanting to do this for awhile, only in a flat beige or green. It's such a cheap mod with a huge affect! The only thing stopping me is that my truck has two rust spots that I need to fix first :/
