no, i didn't do it yet, it actually looks like there were a few wiring problems with it...the bulb was pure black, and the socket it sits in was melted to a blob haha i was debating just putting it inside my window screwed to the top of the window frame instead of cutting the topper, and either running a wire from the 3rd brake light under the truck to the light, or figuring out which wire it is in the trailer harness and splicing it to the topper.
it will flash with your signal if you do that go to go glass they sell a part that i got for mine forget what they called it but you hook the feeds off both lights to it and theres a wire that runs to the brake light. then you just run a ground comes with fuses and everything for 25 bucks. i picked it up when i got my new shocks for the window. you still in kw or no
how much did the shocks run you? i need a set. but ct they are $35 each.
im not in KW, when we tore down the mazda was my last day there, but hopefully im moving there mid july-august 1st. just have to go over the lease info and apply.
