My truck itīs now at the body shop, itīs getting a new color, a sonic blue, so i will buy some new rims for it, but iīm not sure of blacks, crhome, polished, silver, or black w/inserts, what do you recomend, it,s a stepside supercab.

I say black powdercoat w/ silver accents. That's what I have on my vista blue Ranger. No pictures yet though.

well it comes down to this, IMO of cousre, if you want a "pretty" looking truck then go with crome. if you wanna go with a tough lookin offroad kind of truck go with black or gunmetal... and this is my opinion

 

the OP is from calexico, ca....I was raised there. Thats a border town with mexicali, mexico. You can get CHEAP paint jobs down there but they SUCK. Guys will paint in their backyards with dust blowing all over the place. Most of the time you can tell if a car/truck has had work done across the border because how ****ty it looks....wavy bondo, cracked bondo, LOTS of orage peal, little/cheap clear coat.

yes the truck is in a Mexicali body shop, one of the best shops in the city, itīs called Carrocerias California, the guys have a huge experience, and has a special Paint rooms, an they are using a ford oem paint. i bought it from a Ford dealer here i calexico, all the paint job will cost me arroun 1200 bucks, with 4 coats of color, and 6 of clear. they are verry profettionals, and cheaper than in the us.

 

hopefully they do use your paint and dont swap it with some cheaper stuff. Post pics when you get it back, Id like to see the results
