new grill? cut out/bolt over?

well i'm lookin into gettin a new grill maybe from stylinconcepts cuz they have a great selection. i have the 03 black honeycomb grill on now, and i'm just wondering which would be better cut out/ or bolt over. i think cut out sounds sweet, but i've heard it's a pain in the *** to do. what to do you guys think i should get?

The cut out one isnt a pain in the *** to install it is fairly simple and it looks much better, also it doesnt require any cutting of factory parts.

I thought that's why they called it "cut-out"? what part are you cutting when you install this, I thought it was the inside part of the grille.

nope the grille pops out of tabs the connect it to the grille shell then the new one bolts on to the existing holes located above the old grille. Then you just put the grille shell back on.

Yes you can remove the stock grille without tearing it up, and probably turn around and sell it on here or ebay with no problem.

I think for the 98's you would have to cut, because my grille is all one piece. anybody know what year they started going to the two piece grilles? or what's the deal with that?

lemme clarify, my grille looks like this

I would have to cut it to make it look like this

right?

I have the same grille but Mine is the 1 piece that came with the grille in it so I did not have to cut out my stock grille.

You can buy the grille and shell combos at styling concepts but they are up there in price. Ive seen it where people have cut and it can come out looking like crap.
