New Wheels!

Well my dad is getting new tires for my step moms Xterra and he is getting them from discount tire. He is getting a package deal that comes with wheels and tires. He called me up and told me to look these wheels up, MB Razor.

So I told him I would give him $170 bucks for the the rims.

What do you guys think?

I already have the the tires. They are 285/75/16 Dunlop Radial Rovers.

I have a question for you guys. The specs on the wheel is 5-114.3 -6mm.

I know the 114.3 = 4.5. I want to know what backspacing the rim has.

I have this question also..I was looking at rims and they said 4.5" backspacing..which is stock...but then I found a 4.75" backspacing but with a -6.6mm offset. As many times as zach has tried to explain this to me I still dont understand the offset lol. I feel retarted but dern I dont want the things to look stupid!

if they are 8" wide the bs would be 4.25"

or if they are 7" wide it would be 3.75" bs

Nice, so they will stick out a little further then stock rims and they are wider. Should help the stance a little.

the offset of the wheels is -6mm. this means that if you imagine the point in the center of the wheel the mounting surface of the wheel is 6mm to the left. (if the the face of the wheel is towards your right and the back of the wheel your left) My wheels have a -11mm offset and my tires stick out about a half an inch outside my fender wells. You have bigger tires than I do though so it might be pretty similar actually.

I should be getting them tomorrow and I will probably get them on either Friday or Sat.

Just depends on when I have time.

So here is the deal on those rims. The guy as discount tire said he cannot find 4 of the size I need. The rims are $79 a piece which I was paying about half of that. So he tells me that he will give me these rims for the same price $79, but remember I am only paying half of that price. They are worth $120 a piece so, I like these wheels better and think they should look good.

Nice wheels and congrats! You don't see them everyday is the most appealing thing.

hey zabeard, what kind of tires are those, and what size. i got the MB Razors on my 99 Mazda right now, and they're wrapped in yokohoma geolander A/T's. Once I get my lift I'm looking into 33" or 35" tires, and that combo you got is nasty.

lord of war.....i was gonig to say the razor's are nice, but the protective coating on my two rear wheels are starting to peel. and i was going to tell you to be careful with that. but those other wheels will look pretty sick too!

These are the wheels w/ my current set-up.

My wheels came with a warranty on the finish. I take care of them so I guess only time will tell how they hold up.

Thanks for the heads up.
