Not using your front license plate frame? LOOK!

Is there anyone here that has a license plate frame that came on their truck for the front. I believe some Rangers were sold with this black license plate frame holder so that you don't have to just bolt the license plate to the front bumper. If you are not using this frame or have taken yours off PLEASE post here!

Stephen

I'd like to take mine off......but you need a front plate here in Ontario. Quebec & some east coat provinces only need a rear plate.....argh.

I pulled off my lower valence and.....well.....climed up a steep hill and ripped mine off w/ my plate. It's somewhere on the mountain somewhere. Found it a few weeks back. I hate oregon front plate law.

Mine was held on with those cheap black plastic screws and nuts but i changed it to metal bolts and nuts along with a 1" fender washer because who ever drilled the holes made them 3/4" which pisses me off because when i got the lower billet grille the plate bracket wouldnt fit so i was going to ditch it and just bolt up the plate but none of the holes lined up so i had to hack off the back of the bracket and stick it back on.

Dude, if I EVER had to have a front plate, I'd pay for a custom plate. X35 1ARO.

they sell license plate brackets at places like carquest etc. We own a used car dealership in Virginia so we have to a front bracket on all cars coming from another state. you could prolly get one for 15 bucks. they are easy to put in with a self threading or cutting head screw.

I don't know if different state plates have different mounting holes but you can not bolt a MD plate to the bumper using the stock rivot holes. I had to zip tie mine to the bumper, I reused the plastic piece to prevent metal on metal rubbing.

my $0.02
