so ive been looking at getting some lights mounted on the front of my 06. ive seen it on older trucks with the steel bumper where mine has the plastic crap, but good steel underneath that i might be able to mount it to, has anyone tried mounting on the new style bumpers, id rather not get a bush bar or light bar until i get a full custom tubed one like i have seen a few others with, any help would be great, thanks

Yeah....search Light Tabs or lite tabs. I've posted up ideas for 06+. You can also mount them just like 98-05's by pulling out that plastic christmas tree that holds the bumper cover to the metal bumper.....but using a bolt instead.
