old school mirror swap

old school mirror swap

have any 2nd gen guys ditched their floppy mirrors mounted one one point for the older style kind where they mount at two points like this pic below i "borrowed" from google?

My dads 89 had those. I prefer them as they are larger. I think you'll have to drill a couple of holes if you want them bad enough.

Yeh i think the top might match up but you'll have to drill holes for the bottom

im assuming ill have to remove the inner door panel to secure the nuts on the other side? i like them cause they are classic and so much more sturdy than these crappy mirrors i have now...

you'll have to drill holes in your door

STL bought my old mirrors to do the opposite. now he has holes in his 2nd gen's doors to fill in
