Painted bumpers quote
Painted bumpers quote
My neighbor works at a body shop a couple towns over and i asked him for a price quote on getting my front and rear bumpers painted to match the truck. I have yet to hear back from him and i will probably get an answer on monday. If the price is too much, i'm just going to forget about it. He said it would be cheaper if i took all of the paint off and just gave them the bumpers, so that is what i will do. But it doesnt seem like it would cost that much just to get 2 bumpers painted. Could anyone give me a roundabout price they may charge for it? (They also use Dupont paint)
And if anyone's wondering why i'm re-painting them, it's because...
1) It didnt turn out the way i wanted it to
2) Flat white as opposed to Oxford white
3) Rust that was grinded off before has now re-appeared and is worse than ever.
So i finished the rear bumper, and the next day, the paint pealed itself off. (4-5 coats of everything)
I had started the front but lost hope.
EDIT: and the sharpie tag number in the front was a joke

Hmmm, well we have a paint gun and im painting mine this week.... (with primer/paint/clear, its going to cost around $100)
did you use a spray can?? if you dont have a paint gun and a compressor, you could rent what you needed, buy paint, and re-do yours....
