painting my beadlocks
painting my beadlocks
i just ordered a set of KORE beadlocks and i want to paint them to match my truck, toreador red. do they make this in an aerosal can? or should i paint them like a neon color, orange or green?
thanks
i dont think sherwin williams does automotive paint. i know finish-master is a larger auto paint supplier in michigan, you could see if there is one near you, otherwise look in the phone book for autobody supply or auto paint supply. something along those lines.
dont mix paint... find a color in a spray can that you like... the wheels will get scratched up wheeling and then all you have to do is get out that rattlecan and touch em up... less work later and probably cheaper!
ok will do, thanks!
very true, ill look at colors before i get one mixed and if i find something i like, ill just use it
go bright green or something...
id change it up. its not like it needs to look super pretty. like said above its going to get torn up in no time. I was going to do the same but then just painted it with tractor enamel, something strong in hopes it would hold up against the rocks.

Just an FYI certain Sherwin Williams do supply Automotive paint. I know in my area only 1 of the 5 does.
I like this idea. A gunmetal gray would look sick
well i have a change of plans. i broke a leaf spring yesterday, and found a nice set of dodge 1/2 ton with 4"'s of lift already arched in them for 100 bucks. so i put a cancel on the beadlocks and im getting new rear leafs, i bought an electric fan, and i bought a new saginaw steering pump
