Paintshop Needed

Here's the deal. I went offroading Saturday through some trails and mud. Scratched up my paint a little, but nothing I was seriously worried about. Sunday afternoon I go outside and discover my younger brothers (told by my dad) wrote "wash me- dad" in the mud. Unfortunately the lack the brain cells obviously to know better than to ETCH THE WORDS IN WITH A STICK. It went throught the mud and clearcoat/paint. I tried a buffer, and it looks better, but still not happy. Since it is his fault, my dad has offered to have my truck painted, but he will only pay for all of it if I take it to MAACO. I read the MAACO horror stories and I'm a little worried about taking it in.
So my question is, does anyone know of a MAACO that does better work than most in the Houston area? Or a shop around Huntsville or Houston that does a good job. I'm not lookin for a $5000 paint job, I only paid $4500 for the truck, so that would be dumb. Yet, on the other hand, I don't want it looking like a rattlecan job either. Thanks for the help guys.

Im repainting the whole truck, and hopefully getting a spray in bedliner around the same time. I just want my black redone, so door jambs, etc. won't have to be sprayed.

get the spray on bed liner stuff on the entire lower half of your truck, so you can still take it mudding and stuff with out worrying about scratches

Thought about that, but lots of the scratches from the trail were above the body line
