Dang, MRC, I'm trying to think if I have pics of mine anywhere. I've had it since the truck I wrecked (it was on that one). The darn things near invisible except at the receiver point, especially on street height trucks. Plus, mine has been a roughly used recovery point ("jerk" pulls) and all and it's still intact. They are very nice to have.

If you don't do anything immediately, you can always check mine out when you come up to switch hoods.

Thanks guys.I am in no hurry John.I was just under there tonight and it made me remember that I always wanted to get one of those.Off topic,I tried to get Brian to swap hoods with me and take it up there this weekend so we could both get our hoods sooner but he was having none of that.He told me that you tried to get him to do the same thing and I just had to laugh!

Does it affect the spare tire at all?Mine is pretty tight as it is now with a 255/70/16 under there. Also one of the reasons I want to go to one of those is so I can go back to dual exhaust.

I got a 31" in there. It was resting ON the trucks frame, not nestled inside it though. The design of the round tube does "sweep" around the spare.

And yes, I did! He told me his truck was much to prissy for such a thing!

It is debatable about which one looks better. It comes down to the preference of the buyer. I am not sure about the load bearing part either. When I was looking for mine the round tube had a higher rating than many of the square tube receivers. Regardless, a class III round tube receiver will handle any load you can safely put on the rear of a Ranger.
