Hey,im new here.Im looking to put a 3in body lift with 33 in Bf Goodrich A/T on my 2001 Ford Ranger Edge 2wd with a manual trans. What kit should I buy at a decent price that will come with everything I need, with the extensions and everything? And also, could you post your truck with a 3in (or 4) body lift with 32's or 33's?Thanks

zabeard 08-16-2005 02:10 PM

Where could I get them, and about how much would it run me?I love your truck. What lift do you have on it?

Pinecone 08-16-2005 02:18 PM

He has a bodylift. Us 4x4er's get bodylifts cause the cheapest suspension lift is $1800.

PA(Performance Accessories) makes the just about one and only bodylift for the new rangers. Its 199 and extra for the shifter extension. The spindle lift runs about $600 or more I think.

I had a 02 4x4 Edge w/ 3" BL, AAL and torsion crank on 33x12.50's.

This is winks's truck, BL was a real PITA to install, but was worth it. Performace Assec. 4wheelparts.com $160

most autoparts stores online do,...http://4wheelparts.com/4wp/products/...AB&expand=sub3

he has a body life because like pincone said 4x4 ones cost in the thousands

Mr. Special 08-16-2005 02:50 PM

BLs are retarded on a 2 wheel drive. If you want a good looking lift go with the spindle. It isnt any more expensive and it will actually lift your suspension insted of faking it!

All these pics and opinions are great and all, but remember you are a 2wd xlt, you dont have t-bars to crank so you wont be as tall as half these guys and fitting the tires you want is going to be a little harder, in the end i would do a body and spindle ift, its money but it will get you up to where you wanna be. you 'll probably need to add a leaf too

Dude 08-17-2005 07:11 PM

I have a 2wd Edge.I cranked the torsion 2 in.Im gonna get a spindle lift with 33's,thanks everyone

034x4 08-18-2005 08:55 AM

Who cares Chris, quit instigating sh!t.

Good choice with the spindles.

SoundPer4mance 08-18-2005 07:31 PM

FYI a spindle lift doesnt "lift the suspension", its as much "faking it" as a body lift. you will get more clearance underneath with spindles though, that is undeniable.
