pushbar idea, help!

I like the Westin bullbar, but it is mounted from underneath the bumper, so you lose some ground clearance, which i dont like.

I was thinking of making a pushbar that mounts where my front tow hooks mount to the frame, with some integral loops in it for extractions...

Any idea where to find a pushbar I can mod to do this with? Or ideas?

Waag bar mounts through the hole in the bumper, to brackets on the frame. Might look into a WAAG Sportster Bar.

No problem......i suppose i should've posted pics. lol. Good luck finding one...they have been discontinued for abou 3-4 years now. But it has been quite a while since a group buy has been put together. Over at the old GE, there were group buys for them where Waag would make them in a short run of production to fufill the group buy.....that's where I got mine. Now it's on my little brother's truck(pic below). I don't think there'll be any problems with the brackets, but there is a possibility of cutting the valence(bumper cover) on your truck to make it work, or custom brackets need to be fabbed....but that's the worst thing that could happen. No problems.

Little brother's truck....

I've been flamed and he's been flammed plenty of times in the past about the waag on his truck......and he's not getting rid of it. Espicially since if he ever does, I'm buying it back and puting it on another 2wd. Police Interceptor style.

Always keep your eyes peeled here and generation-edge.info. There's been many members who have them. Post that pic off waags site...i can't seem to find it. They do still make the grille guards....which are loosely based on the sportster bar.

The one who set up all the group buys, was a G-E mod by the name of RockinRobin69. Go over there and contact him. He was is contact with a person over at Waag...i want to say her name is Ingrid...but that's probably WAAAYYY off.

You'll have a lot of guys that say they'll buy one but when it comes down to it they won't fork the money over. You gotta find a way to get definite answers.

^^Exactly. That actually what kinda ended the group buys. There were about 10 members each time that actually forked the cash over for one. Thats 10 out of like 20. Interest started decreasing, and group a group buy hasn't been done in about 2 years I'd say.

Oh no, just make sure you get people to fully commit before going to the company and saying you have 20 people and only end up with 10 so they get screwed over. I would contact them and see if they would even be willing first.
