Question About Bedrails

I am wanting to paint my bedrails on my step side bed. Do the little plastic caps come off? I did not want to break them. What is the best way to take the bed rails off without breaking them?

The little circle things are just plastic caps that cover the screws. If you have a small stright screw driver just carefully pry them off. It is simple and they do not get messed up easily but still be careful. Then under each is a hex head screw that holds them on. There is a few more that hold the bed sides but if you do not remove those the bed sides will stay in place.

^^ Yea, what he said. It's a t-30 torx bit for the screws btw. You take the 5 screws out and they come right off. Then you can paint it. What kind of bed-liner you have? Is that a roll-on or spray-on?

Thanks for the response. The bed liner is a Herculiner with the uv protection.
