question about headlight mod

allright so i did the 01 front end swap and i want to black out my headlights the question is i dont have oem headlights i bought them off ebay is there gana be a problem with doing the same thing with a non oem headlight??

should be fine. just like the mod to oem housings, be careful of warping and melting.

allright thanks man casue thats the last thing i would want to do is put it on low for like 5 mins and it burts into flames or somthing strange like that

What is considered a headlight mod? Painting the inside and resealing?

yea make it black housing but where the bulb goes

If you got them off ebay why didnt you just buy the ones that are already black?

becasue they were a present from the girlfriend and i didnt want to tell her she got the wrong ones

haha the mod is easy just take your time and might wanna do the clears too but they are harder OR buy those off ebay

I thought the clears were much easier to do IMO. Just taking your time is key.

I just cracked a set last week of the eBay clears, my 06 corners tho we're super easy. Theyre much stronger and less brittle though.

I cracked a set of clears and took my time on my '06s that are coming soon. I think the angle at which the lens of the corners goes into the backside is what makes it harder.
