I was wondering which color of stripe to put on my truck, each color changes some mods in my head. I have a red 02 xlt; im lookin into either black, white, or silver......answers, opinions, and pics would be nice too if anyone has anything. thank you

 

black will look the best IMO

 

black or silver would look best

 

white. depends tho. What mods have u done. such as chrome rims, xlt package(chrome), black rims, etc etc an all make a difference. A pic of ur vehicle would help

A darker gray or silver would look pretty cool. White will eventually yellow after a while, and black is a bit common.

Heres the scoop, its a stock 02 ranger XLT. It has the chrome XLT bumpers. sorry no pics, me and my girlfriend just broke up and she bought the digital camera before i could get the chance....yeah. umm...it is a stepside. I really do like the black because i have seen one already with black and its wicked....but then again if i have different color i could change my mods....(aka- interior paint, grill paint unless i get billet, and also the rims) i have the 5 spoke aluminum rims now but it wont be for long.
p.s. yes it is a late-model in my pic but its not me drivin. its rick aukland-12 and Bart Hartman-75, my 2 favorite drivers.

Awesome, i like the hood painting, like yours, also, but i am single with my truck payment and not alot of cash coming in....lol but i think i am looking harder into the black.

That's what my front end is gonna look like sooner or later. Imagine it with red and black, and a silver billet grill and I think it'd be pretty sweet.

Im puttin 2 up the middle so far unless i see somethin else i like first. i wanna paint the grill shell black also and paint my valance red to match. like i said, i have alot of ideas, just not the money....yet!

thats not my red truck, but mine will look the same here pretty soon.

that one is painted on, mine will be a vinal sticker.

 

The one im getting is the vinyl sticker. im lookin at www.decaldriveway.com they have alot of cool stuff. I couldnt find many more places with the racing stripes so there isnt really many different types/brands that i have seen.
