Found a Raptor style fiberglass grill by McNeil.

The guy that owns BCSuperTrucks has one or built one. Not sure which I just know he was talking about it.

 

The letters FORD should be on the same curve as the outer shell

 

I agree with this... would like to see it done on a truck. It's nice to see some different options out there though!

 

yea brandon at BCST has one. its this one from mcneil as hes a dealer in canada for them. hes putting it on his own truck with their louver hood.

The actual Raptor grill has a kind of mesh upper and lower, and the letters are flush with it. I think something closer to the original might look OK, but this one doesn't cut it IMO.

 

rangers are to narrow to make it look good imo.
i just absolutely hate trying to make one vehicle look like another.
no matter what it is, a honda that looks like a ferrari is retarded, and a ranger that looks like a raptor is retarded.

just my opinion, ignore it, or embrace it.

I agree with that completely but certain style points can be taken to one vehicle to another. Hardly anything is completly original. If its done with taste its OK in my opinion.

i think thats a better design the first style, although it seems like it's been hacked together.

That looks a lot better. It is not out of proportion, looks better in black.

 

hey , grill looks awesome! just wondering what you put around it. it looks different then the one you bought! did you put a mesh around it? (top and bottom of F-O-R-D) if so where did you buy it and how did you go about putting it in?

 

or does any one no where i could buy a mesh that would look similar (canadien tire / home hardware ect.) to put around it if i was to buy this set up?? if so can you send me a link please
