RDX Grille Shell Kit

Lookin online and found this grille shell kit, exact bolt on, relatively cheap too, but it says only for 2wd? How can a grille be 2 or 4wd, like whats the difference, is there some cutting or anything i can do to make it fit my 4wd? It comes in either chrome or paintable plastic, and I have a chrome one now, and chrome front bumper, and was wondering if i painted the grille black to match my truck would look dumb with the chrome bumper? heres a pic of the chrome version of the grille

I don't know about your year. But some model's have different grilles. Like EDGE/XLT 4x4/FX4 all have a different grille than an XL or a 4x2 XLT

the only difference in the 4wd and 2wd grilles were the way that the cross bars are running so it should fit yours

I'm pretty sure if you are changing the surround it will fit. The 4x4 vs 2wd usually comes into play when fitting a grill on your existing shell because of the crossbars mentioned earlier.

It will fit on without an Issue I have Bascially the same Grille Shell/Billit Grille on my truck just a tad older than yours and it was bought from styling. You wont have an issue I will 100% gaurantee it its 4 screws at the top of the grille and 2 clamps/clips on the bottom just pull off and snap the bottom on first with the new grille in place and screw in the 4 screws and it will be fine takes 10 mins at most. Just make sure the 2 bottoms clips are snapped in.
