Removal and Reinstall of 2008 ranger fender flares
 

Removing my flares off my 2008 ranger.. guna paint em!

whats the easiest and best way to remove them without damaging them?
Any tricks to the reinstall? wont the plastic "pins" get damaged upon removal and need new ones? 3m tape?

I dont have experience with removing them but I hear the pins will break and need to be replaced.

Just make sure you dont bend your quater panels when you are removing the flares...

Been a while since I had mine of but I didn't break any taking them off. Take your time and you should be fine! If I remember right I used needle nose pliers to squeeze the clips in behind the fender/bedside and pushed them through that way. The ones on the bottom of the flares I did have to replace, but those are the cheap ones. The worse ones to get out that I ran into were the bigger ones at the back of each front flare at the bottom.

peice of cake, the black push pins that come up into the fender you want to cut off and replace then the main clips into the fender use a body pannel removal tool and they will pop right out.
