Removing tow hooks?

Removing tow hooks?

Could i possibly remove these, then paint them, and then put them back on again?

Yes, take the front bumper off and then unn bolt them and paoint them b/c i changed the front hookon mine from the little chrome one to the super duty kind

no need to take the front bumper off at all. the bolts come in from the back anyways if you have a front skid plate you have to take that off but other then that just unbolt them 3 bolts one bottom 2 top

Just make sure you turn the bolts not the nuts.. the nuts are welded to the hook...

yeah i guess u are right i mean i already had my bumper off wheni chagned my hook so yeah u dont have to take off the bumper

i took mine off when i did my billet insert, took forever to get off because they are practically welded on

anyways, long story short my hand slipped off the wrench and the inside of the bumper sliced a chunk of meat off the top of my hand, and yes it hurt

so be careful
