I just got a summit racing fiberglass roll pan for my splash and it dosn't fit. Know the question is because i plan on molding the roll pan into the bed to make it smooth so could i use the roll pan i got and cut it to fit in the space and then fiberglass it smooth. If that won't work they want me to send it back and charge me a fee for sending it back so can you help me

I bet he got one for a fleetside (regular) bed... should have got one for a stepside...

My pan didnt seem to fit but it was the right one. we had to unhook the bolts that hold the bedsides on in the back, also the spare tire gets in the way.I'll see if i can get the pics for you.

 

no your right its for a fleet side. Is it true that fiberglass is bad for a roll pan because it warps and metal would be better? if i get metal i can still mold it in to the bed. How would i mold it using metal to a fiberglass body?

 

I have heard of this stuff called fusor or something that people have used and it does not crack...
