Icon5 running boards

Ok, Here's the situation ...
I have a 2004 Ford Ranger 2X4 XLT extended cab and I just bought a pair of black OEM running boards off of a 2008 Ford Rager Sport. (I wanted chrome to match my chrome package but I don't think I would ever find them)
I believe both trucks are 4 door(I know mine is anyways.)
Can anyone tell me if the steps I just bought will work? or will there have to be mods made?
I've looked all over the salvage yards around here, and nobody ever has any.
So, When I was on e-Bay the other night I seen a pair for $50 and snached them up ... I just hope that I didn't jump the gun.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

you should be fine. If both are 4 doors they'll bolt to the same location on the cab

Well, I guess that 2008 Sport is a 2-door extended cab because they won't bolt up.
But, on the bright side, they're in mint condition.
I see that the brackets unbolt from the bars. Is there any way I could fabricate a set of brackets for a 4-door extended cab?
