ScruBlade Windshield Wipers (With Pics!)

Just got them in the mail.. ordered them up through Product Listing - Scrublade

2x 17" Blades cover the standard Ranger - Although I heard someone say something about bumping to a 18" or 19" on one or two of the blades? Is this able to be done? I coudl see the Drivers blade being bumped up an inch or two, lots of extra room!

Installation si as easy as any other wiper.. simply unclip the old ones, clip in the new ones... I have been using the Rain-X Lateral's for the last 2 years.. needed to replace them since I usually do it ever year but.. meh.. These feel like a good quality in the hands, the blades are nice and soft silicone.. dual edged with a scrubbing blade on the outside of both edges, and a fine wiper blade on the inside of both edges.. cant wait to see how well they work when it starts raining - or when I splat some bugs :-D

I may have to pick up a set of those when my Rain-X ones go bad. The only bad thing about the Rain-X ones is that they don't scrub the bugs off very well.

Yep exactly, they get the bug off - but that crap yellow/white/brown gunk is smeared real bad... I go through a TON fo windshield wiper fluid during the humid days when we get tons of bugs everywhere - honestly.. I coudl go through 2 gallons of cleaner a month in a heartbeat... good thing its pretty cheap stuff! I use the orange colored Rain-X windshield wiper fluid btw.. at the local Walmart

Those aren't too bad of a price. I stopped buying blades over $8 a pair a while ago. The heat here just dries the rubber out. I replace them twice a year if not more.

Might pick some of these up though and see how they do.

Every now and then grab a cotton swab and put some olive oil on them It will recondition them and help them out a bit.. keeps them going good!
