Shaved My Tailgate...

looks good man..becareful using a DA sander being you be a little heavy on one side makes it an uneven sand..

i do all my body work with my hands..get a nice sanding block and go to town..

looks good man..shave it all!!

yeah Evan, i did all the sanding by hand exept for just getn to bare metal for welding when i didnt want to use a grinder

I emailed him last night and just got my money a few minutes ago. I think some people really over reacted about him when all that went down, he is moral and had no intentions in ripping anyone off.

anyway i dont want to get this thread too off track

yup it gets removed to the inside of the gate, I mean obviously its not on the outside anymore since its been covered with a plate lol.

well the handle could have been changed to an electrical switched that could be mounted anywhere (under the bumper, on top, hell even inside the cab)

its a good choice if you have a locking tonneau cover.(hard cover) then you get a tailgate lock and you have a spot for safe keeping..

i just did it for ****s..mainly cause my tailgate was needing body work and i was bored

andy im thinking seriously that i wanna do the "sunroof mod".


We should do it. Err, probably "I" but i could order it from JC Whitney and i think we can manage to cut a hole in my roof.

i'd rather watch you cut that hole haha...sometimes i decide that i want to do a ****ty job. And you seem to be able to make a fine shaved rear. You could shave my roof!

it'd look tacky because he's already got two on the hood and 1 on each door. His truck has like....34 windows now.
