Skid Plate, where does it go?

Does anybody know where this skid plate goes?
I believe it's off an 07, which is the same year as mine.

no it's not for the transfer case, I have that one already and the one for the gas tank.

This one is only about a foot long and like 10 inches wide.

rangers only have 3 skid plates and that isn't any of them. Don't think it is for our trucks

The only thing I could of even think is a possibility would be the front of the gas tank that the other skid does not cover which I've never heard of ford making

Said that in his other thread...that most definately is not 98+ Ford Ranger. Front skids are triangular.

I went back to the junyard today and it seems that this plate was off an 07 Ranger FX4 Level II, unless somebody just misplaced this plate and put it in the truck.
