soft tonneau with an over-the-rail toolbox?

i was thinking, i'd like to have a tonneau cover (especially for winter!) but i don't want to get rid of my over-the-rail toolbox. anybody with a soft tonneau, would it be possible to cut down the frame, and have the fabric re-done at an upholstery shop? or other ideas...?

if i remember correctly, a tonneau for a sport trac is just about the right size depending on the toolbox.. although i could be wrong

I know a couple companies make them. Im pretty sure Access makes one and I think lund makes one.

Heres a link but they dont seem to have a very good selection. http://www.ultimatetruck.com/categor...au_Covers.aspx

well, i finally got around to measuring up a sport trac, and they are indeed the same. with the tool box in my truck (roughly 18" if i remember) the spec out the same. front width, rear width, and over all length are all within 1".

now i just need to find a tonneau for a reasonable price...
