LOL i think its my stock skid...if so is there a way to remove it since it is wleded to my frame if i remove it to make place for my custom skid i am about to make will it mess with anything...its the hunk of metal under the truck right by the sway bar on a 97..i would post pics but cant seem to figure it out...someone help me there too

 

kinda an odd shape? below the radiator? 93-97 trucks dont have skid plates stock. i beleave that is a structural part...

 

yea...it hangs down covering the pitman arm and connects to the swaybar to the frame...i hate that thing though lol

 

it is a structural piece of the frame.....DO NOT REMOVE IT!!!!! it also protects the steering box and pitman arm....

 

BTW.....that is crazy there is a Louisville, Mississippi.......that is the 1st Louisville i have heard of outside of Louisville, KY

 

lol....yea yours is alot bigger then mine though...we might have 10000 people and thats pushing it...alright...i jus hate that hunk of metal...guess cuz my truck is stock height, im going to try to gain 2 inches of height though...

 

dont remove it......it will cause you to have serious frame trouble....
