Step Side to FleetSide Swap

I have a 2004 xlt supercab stepside. I was wondering How to go about doing a swap to a fleetside.

What parts are needed to do this swap as well as what beds will fit on my 04

All Ranger stepsides will fit. All you need is the bed, maybe bolts, and gas tank filler neck. I may be leaving out a few things.

Longer filler neck and vent tube, or just extend the existing alot like a body lift kit does. Youll also need a rear bumper. Other than that, it's a direct swap.

Just so you know I just did this the other way around...and the Gen 3 i.e. 93-97 filler necks dont work with the 98+ Trucks due to they are a once piece non vent tube design!

I'm pretty sure he is just talking about the filler neck not the bed.

Yes or just extend your current filler neck. Go to Lowes and get you a 1 1/4" connector and go to advance and get you a small piece of 1 1/4" fuel line and extend it. I can't remember what size the vent tube is. Maybe 1/4" or 1/2" and do the same.
