I wanted to know if anyone who has a solution to the leaking tailgate with a cap on the bed? I've tried a tailgate seal but with little luck.

 

Well I don't get leaks from the top of tailgate but the sides where there is a visual gap. Is that where yours is coming in too?

I have thought about those tailgate sealer kits too but I haul firewood and dirt and it would just get clogged too quickly...so I live with my minor leaks, I just don't put anything near the corners of bed/tailgate.
