Towing mirrors ?

Hey guys what kind of tow mirrors do you guys use ?

I got a cheap Reese set from pepboys and they were junk ! I used them once and both of them broke.

I found this set. mirrors but the cheapest I can find them for is about $30 EACH

My parents have something more like these for their bronco but I can't seem to find a set that fit Rangers.mirrors

Why do you need different mirrors? I don't have vision problems with the stockers?

Yes the camper is 2 feet wider then the truck on both sides. I can not tell if there is a car in the next lane next to the camper.

The junk reese ones I had did the job but they were junk and both broke after one use.

arent your mirrors power? if so that will be fun to swap.

btw your mirrors are going to need to stick out atleast 2' on each side right? id be suprised if someone makes them that big.

I am not talking about swaping the mirrors i am talking about adding on a removable tow mirror. Tow mirrors are typically curved which let you see more with less mirror. The little clip on reese mirrors I had were only a few inches square and curved and did the job just fine except they were junk and fell apart.

The first picture in my first post is a universel strap on mirror.

I really thought a lot of people did some sort of towing and therefore needed a tow mirror. So I was really just wondering what everybody else used.

Maybe nobody tows with a ranger.

I guess I've never really towed anything tall enough. I've pulled wide boats, but I can see over the top of them. When I pulled our 28 foot enclosed trailer with the cummins truck, I couldn't see around the trailer... pulling something big enough, you just put on the blinker and get over... They'll move...

Check these:
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...towing+mirrors
They have some that fit explorers, shoud fit your tuck..

I'd go with these:
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...towing+mirrors
at $8 each their practically disposable.

I'll be gettin myself a set for towing the boat, they will come in real handy!

The first ones there don't really say that they fit the rangers. The second ones are the cheap ones I had and they broke after one use.
