Well i just sold my tonneau cover and i was just wondering if anybody has a Kobalt Slim line toolbox. Not the lowpro one just the regular one that goes over the rail. my main question is if you have that toolbox or one the same dimensions, can you fit a 30 rack of beer in there? lol

I have a Kobolt slimline - chrome - blinds the hell out of me when driving... Only gets used for concerts now... fits 4 bottles of Capt morgan, 2 24 packs of pepsi, 3 12 packs of Corona, and about a dozen limes... 2 gallons of Sweet tea and a 3 gallon cooler of "punch" and took 3 20lb bags of ice to fill it... Was great before the concert, broke a couple of bottles after the concert on the drive home due to draining the water out and having too much room to sloosh around....

 

lol ok so that def answers the question. im going to paint it black or plastidip it because i also don't like the chrome.

 

also, mount it with j bolts so you dont have to drill into bed

 

yeah thats the plan....did that with my previous box and worked out the best. for the price of the box though i can't pass it up unless i change my mind to get a full tilt extang tonneau lol
