Valance: On or Off

cant decide for myself, id like to have the tow hooks back on the front just because but than i like the way it looks with the valance, dont want to cut it up though

note-i will be using regular 4x4 tow hooks not LVL 2 tow hooks

I personally think it looks better with the valance on... i've never been a huge fan of the no valance look. The valance just makes the truck look "finished" so to say, and smoothes out the front.

Well it's your call. The valence is smaller on that year truck and it's less noticible. I can't stand it when the 01+ trucks don't have a valence... looks booty-fab to me. I think it looks fine off, and I think it looks good on too... decisions decisions.

You make a really good point. I don't like mine off. Although I do like interceptors off, and I like n3elz off, just b/c he's Mr. Griggs though.

Zach, you have a VERY good point. Get that edge bumper/valance homie!!!

urs doesnt look bad off.
it might be because i HATE the look of a valance with fog light holes and no light, that looks so crapy IMO

Yep, if you dont have fog lights there dont worry about even having the valence- like somebody else mentioned, just fab up a nice skidplate.

well my truck originally had the valance with no holes because it didnt have fog's but i got this one for 20 bucks so i threw it on and i kinda liked the way it looked, now im just debating on function vs. looks........i think im going to take it off and look at it for awhile.....

I know the LP holders on the '01's are a royal pain in the butt to get off. All I can tell you is, patience is key! Leave the valance on.
