Valance: Paint or Rhino lined....

Welp, Im starting to get into my front end finally and I want to color match my valance. I was just wondering how well paint holds up to the elements as in rocks and such from the highway or does it chip or whatnot.... Then again, Sometime soon hopefully Im going to get my step bars colormatched with rhino lining because the paint keeps chipping off and was thinking about doing my valance as well. Jw how that would look or would it just be better to get it painted. Thanx

It will be colormatched with either paint or Rhino lining. When I do my stepbars they will colormatched as the are now only with Rhino Lining.

I have a painted valance for sale, all it would need is to be re-painted to match your truck. Doing it this way would save you the hassle of smoothing the textured finish of your XLT valance. I'm going to let it go for cheap since I've had it for so long. Shipping is the most costly part, but since you are in Ohio and I'm in MI, it shouldn't be that bad.

Let me know if you're interested.

My painted valance is chipped up a lot. It has scuffs too, but that's from off-roading. I would got it Rhino-lined first.

Im still not sure yet. I dont do much offroad and I drive alot of highway and I also live on a gravel road. I think with the price of rhino lining I may just go with paint idk. Mark, how much for your valance? Ill keep that in mindbut idk what Ill do with my other valance if I got yours. lol

Get your plastic one rhino-lined & buy mine & paint it. That way when you get sick of one, just swap them. You can have my valance for 45 bucks plus shipping.

valance for me was ripped off within the first half mile of wheelin

if you are going to keep it would bed liner it, but do it yourself! its easy (i hear) and you can touch it up yourself.
