I have a friend that owns a body shop and he told me he would paint my truck free and just pay for the paint, clearcoat, etc. and i was wanting yalls opinion on what color i should get it painted? Right now my truck is black, but i dont like having black(shows scratchs and hard to clean) so i am looking for a different color.

 

My charcoal is dark and if I didnt live in the desert it wouldnt be to dusty

 

I kinda want to get the Ford dark shadow grey or red with a chrome grill and color matched bumper

 

gold hides dust really well. that is why my mother in laws exploder is gold.

I agree that they grey would look good on there but maybe see about jazzin it up a little bit, do a stripe or something to set it apart

ummmm......YOUR TRUCK IS A 2007......why didn't you buy a color you wanted

to completely change the color, or to go to a color that isn't even remotely close to black, you will have to repaint door jams, under the hood, under the bed, and so forth....it isn't as easy as just painting what you can see from the outside.....

If I could pick any color, i would prolly do Lexus Pearl white, or that dolphin grey metallic from audi.

 

i agree with lifted97... your trucks brand new, and you already want to change the color? keep it black and just wash it every week.

 

I was just wanting yalls opinion, im not serious about it or anything. When i got my truck the colors i had to pick from were white, black, and gold. If im gonna do any painting at all, i just want the front bumper painted black to color match with the truck

 

then why didn't you order your truck or go to another dealership....you shouldn't have settled for a color just because that is all a dealership had.....that isn't the only 3 colors Ford offers in a '07 Ranger...

 

Well i liked and wanted black but i didnt realize all the trouble of cleaning and etc.
