windows

I'm planning on tinting my windows soon. I'm going to go as dark as possible in the back and am not sure what would be good for the front. I don't want to go so dark that I have to worry about the cops every time I see them. I live in california and law says you have to have 70% coming in the front. Would 50% make a noticebale differnece and not attract too much attention from the cops? If 50% isn't really notceable what would look good but not draw too much attention. Sorry if this was already answered, but their are too many tint posts and I don't feel like looking through all of them.

Pretty much. It's not like I live in compton or anything. I think the laws should vary city to city.

you want 5% limo rear then and like 35% sides you shouldnt have any probles 35% is kinda light but its still there. i like more 5% rear and 20% sides if you want a contrast...

i went 5% all around... acully i am gonna get all my tint redone this winter

i agree with zach...thats my eventual plan...it gives a good contrast so the fronts look lighter than the back to a point where they will probably/hopefully not harass you about it...

That looks good, but where I live that would probably get me caught.
