It depends on how the frame is made. Many glass shops will get you fitted, then temper it. I don't think they will 1/2 *** it if they know it's going on a vehicle. I replaced a side window with lexan from Lowe's that I cut to fit.

I'd ****** that thing up. I like keeping things dry under mine, and it's easy enough to remove when desired.

Call him ask him if the rear frame for the window is there, for 30$ and maybe 10 - 15 in lexan from home depot for a temp fix you cant go wrong..

As said before for great for camping trips.

I just picked up a cap for my truck 2 weeks ago, and its great. all my stuff stays dry and I now have room again inside my cab. Remember function over form.

And for $30 you can't go wrong. Pick up a piece of lexan or say **** it and do plywood till the budget is there for a new window.

Caps are a pain in the ***. Tonneau covers are much more practical and easier to remove and store.

Kinda hard to take off a cap and store it somewhere when you have a big item that wont fit with the cap on. Plus crawling around inside the bed in a pain when trying to load and unload it with a cap.

Tonneau covers FTW.

I love my cap, no way I'd get rid of it. $30 is a heck of a steel!

I love the cap I got for my truck over Christmas. I'd never go back to a tonneau cover. I love my cap tonnes and tonnes more. I can fit more stuff in there, plus I think it looks better.
