take your grille out and drill two holes on either side of the plastic shroud thats in their for air flow threw the radiator and tranny coller and mount your lights in my lights were not supported well at all!!! that plastic shroud flexed and my lights bounced a good bit and on the passenger side the tranny cooler causes problems were the light doesnt want to aim strait and aim up or down or the other side of the road almost impossible to align but i managed to get my light fixed with a dremel yo yhr inside of the grill to get more clearance but.... seeing your grille you may not run into a issue like i did so you may be in the clear take you two lights you plan on mounting i recomend hella 500's because their are slim and the perfect height for the area they will be placed... wlel take the two lights without the bolts on the lights and place them in their and kinda get the idea of were you want them mounted by setting your grille back and place and walking back so you can get a good idea of what they will look like ect...
well you got it im writing a dang story lol hope my book helped you out lol

i was wondering about that, but do you think they block out that much more than if they were in front of the grill like they are on your truck? I wouldnt think it would be that much of a difference, they have the same cross section in the front, they would just be set back a few more inches.

lemme get some pix, but i put mine on a piece of 1/8"x1" steel. No problems with them bouncing around. The bracket i mount onto the radiator suport thingy. It is a bear getting that grill off though. So far i haven't had any problems with the cooling system.

if you do that, the only thing id recommend is cutting the top mount for the trans cooler and bending it back.
its still solid, and that way you still get the same amount of airflow, since its not right behind the light, there'll actually be room behind it for watevers....gah im tired..
