I hate my 2wd bumper

What can i do for not alot of money too make it stronger? i need to be able to push thing without braking the plastic. There is nothing under the cover really. i want a brush gaurd but they are to expensive new. any ideas?

i have tried to push my buddies truck when he need a new starter and it wasn't holding up its all plastic i hate it

ok i got a farfetched idea, just remove your bumper and weld a 3 inch steel bar to the front on like alot of wood/mud trucks, you could but the trunk of a civic on the drivers lap, i have seen it done

Yeah brush guard insn't gonna do you any better. Blocking brush and pushing a car is really different.

the 07 xlt bumpers have ne metal on them whatso ever its really gay.....how much for the edge bumber

The upper bumper should be metal, there is a plastic cover on top of it.

Well the push bars on a cop car i dont think would be a costly mod.. yo can pick up the bars for like 50 bucks.. and whatever it takes to weld em.

use rail road ties
and once its installed commence to beating the **** out of it with crow bars.. then smear a dozen different colors of paint on it.. no one will go near your truck...

theres an explorer around town with em so im sure somebody sells em, they dont look custom either

Hmmm police did use expeditions.. so i imagine explorers were used somewhere.

I believe my station has an old explorer with push bars on it. So ya they would work.
