I have a 97 xlt 2wd and jus took my valance off...it looks alot better, but i have the ugly hunk of metal under my truck that is the stock skid i guess, lol if i knew that it was not doing anything would take a cut off wheel to it...can someone fill me in on that part...i can get all the metal i want so thats not a problem and dont have any rocks to worry about i just need some protection from roots, sticks, and limbs, i was going to make the frame outta 1/8in by 1 1/2 wide steel bar and probably alil thinner for the cover since i cant get diamond plate cheap...anyone have pics of plates on 93-97 rangers...i see all these on 98+ but mine is gettin old...
