CO2 Tank Hold Down

heres the CO2 Tank Hold Down i built up to keep my 20lb tank well planted in the truck while in motion on or off road.

the 2 brackets i bought from the local welding supply house. they were about 25 bux each. got some 3"x3/16" steel and some bolts, and done went to town. all i have left to do is pull it off and paint er up.

beats having it bungie corded into the corner rubbing on my tool chest. DOT would love this lol.

ahh much better:

and thanks to SparkYZ for your insite and use of ur tools

air up tires, run an impact (i need a different regulator, mines not built for lots of flow) , many other uses. i like it cause i can air down and back up w/o waitin for a slow *** 12V pump or building a expensive onboard air system.

True... I got 200 into my air setup with onboard air, 5gal air tank and air horns... I'd only like to run co2 to my intake tube for more dense air thus creating more hp lol

i personaly do, most rigs ive seen with there setups do. its safe as long as its straped down. doesent really make a differance, the handle/valve guard is fine for a handel but wont do much to protect the valve.

on the inlet tube coming from the nut that fastens to the valve it has a slight indentation, which will allow the regulator stem to break off before the valve gets broken.

lets just say... the night i broke the EVAP canister loose(bent the brackets, popped the hoses off) and bent the axle shaft... the FULL tank weighing in at ~37pounds didn't move... badass bracket!
