Im planning on making front and rear bumpers for my 1999 2 wd ranger. I need some ideas. Prerunner style or just like a plain bar w/ skid plate. If i put a skid plate on the bumper will it block air from the bottom half of the radiator? Any pics will be so helpfull. I have welders for steel and aluminum and a tubing bender with every size dyes.

Well, since you live in sin city, I'd go with a pre-runner bar. Maybe Trent(splitfire), Cass(Faux), or some of the other pre-runner guys will chime in and post some pics...

If you want to look at pics of pre-runner bars, go to the search thing at the top of the screen and type in the name of some meeting places, like glamis or azusa or even the word "pre runner." I wouldn't put a dash in there cause it might not recognize it as two words.

That bumper on the white ranger is exactly what i want to go with. I just dont know how to make mounts so that it bolts on. Instead of welding it on.

 

go talk to robbie at woolworth. He'll build ya one either bolt on or weld on.
