Doc's Bumper Mod

Picked up Doc's old front bumper of the weekend. I've got a few things in store for it and a couple of fixes but what do you guys think?

Perdy....but yeah the ears near the wheel well seem to be drooped downward

Yeah I know it needs tweaking. I'm gonna let it go for about a month. I'm moving the light tabs, straightening the sides(the dr. side is much worse), I have to straighten a tow hook, I'm welding flat steel in between the two main pipes to clean things up a bit, glass bead the entire thing once I'm done, then re-paint it. I love it, it's a hell of an improvement from the stock front end.

On a side note, the oem bumper is held on by 4-'grade 5' bolts, I still need to drill two holes for another two bolts. This thing is held on with 8-'grade 8' bolts and I'm still missing the two I mentioned need drilled out. It feels like an extension of the frame(which essentially is). It is solid.

She's sittin stock with a 3" tbar crank. I think I'm gonna pick up some aal's next week though. The front sits a hair higher than the back now with my tool box loaded with 200lbs of b/s.

I wanted to do a body lift but I'm gonna wait to do the suspension lift and do it right =]

The tires are 265/75r16's nothing big, I think it comes out to be 30 or 31". The fronts are about burnt to the wear indicators and the backs should be cooked in three months so I'm gonna slap some mud king 285's on it before winter.

Good, now you have something to stop you if not having any turn signals gets you into an accident. Just kidding, looks really good. Are you going to get anything similar for the rear? That would really complete things IMO.

haha, I'm thinking about fabbing up a bumper like andy(int3rc3ptor) but I'm not too sure yet. I know I want to get that oem bumper off of there.

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback!
