Some people shouldn't be allowed around a welder.

There are a couple of good ones on Pirate. I always enjoy seeing the show trucks where the guy puts all the effort into chroming each individual leafspring, and adding 50 shocks to each wheel, and then gives it a horrible 90's neon retro paint job. What a waste of money.

Some of those trucks with the crazy lift blocks front/rear and the ones with no leafs at all are probably just southern mud trucks that get towed to the mud pit, driven there, and put back on the trailer. There isn't much flexing they are doing or anything and they will probably never have any issues, not saying that it's correct or that I'd do anything like that but I'm just saying these aren't all peoples DD street trucks.

I remember the thread from that guy with the pieces of metal welded to the impeller on the turbo, the idiot thought it would make it spool quicker lol.

thats like my girlfriend's uncle, he told me they used to get their cars to shop class, jack the back end up until the tires just came off the ground and cut a 2x4 a 1/2" bigger than the gap between the frame and the axle and hammer it in there to give it a "hotrod look"

maybe they don't need to flex, but.

no springs makes for a hell of a ride, I have very little up travel and it really sucks.. and huge lift blocks allow for an *** load of axle wrap and wheel hop.. so its bad either way.

True, I'm not sticking up for the trucks or anything just pointing out that they aren't ever driven on the street probably.
