old bumper, new truck
well, since the new truck is a fleetside and the EDGE was a flareside, i had to hold off on swappin the rear bumper over. i got to work on it today, and ended up stretchin the bumper 2.5" on each side to make it fit around the fleet bed.
still looks the same(Jus wider), but here a few pics for grins anyhow.
i basically jus cut both ends off, turned down some slugs to go inside, added a 2.5" piece to each tube and welded everything back up. meant to take pics during the mod, but forgot the camera
if i had originally built this bumper for a fleetside, i would have extended the sides a lil further forward, but oh well.
oh, and i finally got around to cappin the ends of the main tube. i ran outta time to do it when i built it the first time.
