I ended up just calling a local trailer supply shop. (check out RV/motorhome shops too).

They have them for all years of Rangers.

the hitch from JC Whitney was great! I was able to get it shipped to me quickly, and they seemed to be very good. While I did have an extremely frustrating experience with ModBargains (https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=67458), I'm sure they don't consistently run into those types of problems. As far as the Curt hitch is concerned, however, I'm really pleased with it.

I've seen people drill a hole in the receiver, weld a nut over the hole, then thread a bolt through the nut and snug it down so it is pressing against the hitch firmly. Depending on how much play you have it might make it a little crooked but it works and it's pretty easy.

I have the same problem, i have a BL as well, so custom is the only way to go, think you can put up some pictures when you do this? or if you have already done it? if you havent done it yet, think you can get some of the bumper off with how you mounted it too?
