Front Hitch Pics
im curious because i have about 200$ im willing to spend on a hidden front reciever hitch but on modbargains it doesnt have one for a 98-00 rangers now this realy floats my boat... so what should i do just buy the one made for the 01 and hope it works?
They have them for all years of Rangers.
the hitch from JC Whitney was great! I was able to get it shipped to me quickly, and they seemed to be very good. While I did have an extremely frustrating experience with ModBargains (https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=67458), I'm sure they don't consistently run into those types of problems. As far as the Curt hitch is concerned, however, I'm really pleased with it.
I've seen people drill a hole in the receiver, weld a nut over the hole, then thread a bolt through the nut and snug it down so it is pressing against the hitch firmly. Depending on how much play you have it might make it a little crooked but it works and it's pretty easy.
I saw that this thread was about 2 weeks old but i just put on a Draw Tite one and i have a 3 in bodylift and I hate it it hangs waaaaayy to low i think i am going to cut off the reciever piece and reweld it on the top of the main brace instead of the bottom
I have the same problem, i have a BL as well, so custom is the only way to go, think you can put up some pictures when you do this? or if you have already done it? if you havent done it yet, think you can get some of the bumper off with how you mounted it too?
