light bar on bed rails

light bar on bed rails

so tomorrow im going to start building my light bar for my bed rails. i should have it all welded up tomorrow. i'll take some pix and show my bar when its welded up.

my buddy does a lot of fab stuff. this is easy stuff so im doing most of it. its from a pre exististing light bar he had im just cutting it down to fit welding the tabs back on sanding his black paint off priming it and painting it gloss white to match my truck

i dont want anyone to get the wrong idea it is really low its not to be structural or anything like a roll bar/light bar. its nice you'll approve of it.

no its made of inch and a half 1/8 inch pipe. its nothing ghetto or afro engineered

dont have any yet the bar is at my buddies and we were gunna cut weld and sand and all that sunday but i got busy then he did and yah. we are gunna do it thursday night after i get off work

i cut for length and put my angle iron on primed and put 1 coat going to put like one or 2 more coats on saturday going to bolt it in to my bed sunday and hopefully will have pix up sunday night. maybe run all my wiring sunday afternoon/night also. most likely and hopefully will be done sunday night.

mounted the bar last night when i put the lights on i will take pix and post. the lights should be on tonight if not early tomorrow.

well unfortunately and like always i ran into a couple problems like not enough wire and then figuring how im going to make a y so i can wire the 2 lights to the main power im going to run and blah blah blah. will have pix of what i got atleast tomorrow

ok i didnt know if there was anything else i had to put in as well. thanx for putting them up matt. i just hope i have my wiring done before i go to pismo. i should though i have almost 2 weeks to do it.

dust lights? they are some rice burner fog light. but they halogen and super bright. im hoping to have them done b4 i go to pismo just depends on if i procrastinate or not. but yah.
