If you can, go with one of Jeff's. He does good work. I pulled a 1/2 ton chevy with my tire carrier/bumper.

if you did a flat mount one that would fit no problem. If you want one let me know or let Jeff know. We can do it cheaper than buying something from a big company.

I have one forsale on the classifieds board (click here). Much better quality than the fabtech one. Make me an offer I am in the IE so it's not too far of a drive. Could possibly meet somewhere in between.

Look at my cardomain site, I jsut made a flat mount for Loco02. It will fit under a tonneau, and only requires two 3/8" holes to mount to the bed, unliek the giant 1" hoel the fabtech mount requires in addition to teh 3/8" holes.

How difficult would it be to make one that would swing over and lay low enough to clear a tonneau. I'm about to get a tonneau and I'd like to have a spare tire on the back when I go wheelin.

Plus, I like the look of the angled ones...

Im knida confused on what you want and mean by "swing over"

The one I jsut made for Loco will fit under a tonneau. Look at my cardomain site for pics.

well like mine, but he wants it to fold down flat to clear it, but then have it be able to flip up, lock in, and then be an angled spare..

he brings up a very nice argument, and i think i might do a little re fabing on mine to make it do this, also i want to make the pads that it bolts to the bed be able to connect with pins to the rest of the carrier so i can quick take it off to haul somthn
